Pump curves

I just implemented the pump curves feature in DWSIM. You'll be able to input head, power, efficiency, required NPSH pump curves and also build system curves using the sensitivity analysis utility, which was enhanced to support expressions as dependent variables.

The input values won't be limited to the simulation's unit set. Each curve has its own units and you'll be able to display the curves in the units you want to.

I'm planning to release the build with the new features and numerous bug fixes within the next days.

When do you expect to release the new build with pump curves? Is it ready yet?

Two weeks maybe, Jim. The curve system is already finished, I'm just doing tests and the documentation is waiting to be updated...

About DWSIM

DWSIM is an open-source, steady-state chemical process simulator written in VB.NET. It has a HYSYS-like interface with many of the features present in commercial simulators:
